Deleting an asset resource
You can delete a resource from a digital asset if you decide you no longer want that resource associated with the asset in question.

Once you delete a resource from the digital asset, that file is permanently removed from the storage directory. You need to upload the file again if you want to reuse it later. |
To remove a resource from an asset
- Log in to the Admin console.

Choose Assets from the navigation pane.
The Assets page displays. The digital asset hierarchy appears under Directory.

Do one of the following:
- Use the Directory hierarchy to locate the asset you want to delete. Refer to Navigating the digital asset hierarchy for information about navigating to a particular directory node and digital asset.
- Use Search Assets by Name to find the assets (for more information, see Searching for assets).

Choose the Edit () option for the asset you want to delete a resource from.
The Edit Asset page displays.

Choose Manage Resources.
The Manage Resources page displays.
- Choose the Delete () option for the resource you want to remove.

From the confirmation message, choose one of the following options:

OK removes the selected resource from the asset.
Important: This will permanently delete the digital file from the storage directory.
- Cancel ends the delete process without deleting the resource.
