Fields: My List Displays

My List Displays lets you manage the My List displays that are available on your system. A My List display controls the data that appears when Portfolio displays a patrons temporary and saved lists. You can add new My List displays, edit or delete existing My List displays, and configure the search fields that have been enabled for a My List display.



If you add or edit the settings for a display, you must refresh the Discovery search cache afterwards. Your changes are not reflected in Searching or the Admin console until you refresh the search cache. Displays > My List Displays

By default, the information in the My List Display List is sorted in ascending order by code name. You can sort the Search Display List by other data by clicking the column heading of the information by which you want to sort. For example, click the “Name” column to sort the My List Display List by name. When you click the column heading the first time, the software sorts the information in the list in ascending order by the column heading. If you click the column heading a second time, the software sorts information in descending order by the column heading. When you click a column heading, the software displays a sort arrow to the right of the column name that indicates whether the data is being sorted in ascending () or descending () order.

My List Display List

Displays a list of all the existing My List displays on the system.

The list displays this information:

Option	Description
Code	Displays a unique code for the My List display (up to 30 characters).
Name	Displays the name of the My List display (up to 80 characters).

Management options

Lets you manage My List displays by adding, editing, or deleting them. You can also configure the search fields associated with a specific My List display.

You can choose these options:

Option	Description
Add My List Display	Lets you add a new My List display. For more information, see Adding or editing a My List display.
Edit	Lets you edit the information for an existing My List display. For more information, see Adding or editing a My List display.
Configure Fields	Lets you configure the settings for the individual search fields in an specific My List display. For more information, see Configuring the search fields for a My List display.
