Adding or editing a Quicksearch button

Quicksearch buttons let you include pre-configured searches of the catalog or links to pages within or outside the Portfolio system.

To add or edit a Quicksearch button

  1. Log in to the Admin console.
  2. Choose Profiles from the navigation pane.
  3. Locate the profile in which you want to add or edit a Quicksearch button, then from the Select menu choose Quicksearch Buttons.
  4. Do one of the following:

    • Choose Add Quicksearch Button.
    • From an existing Quicksearch button, choose Edit Quicksearch Button.
  5. Type or edit the fields as needed. For more information, see Fields: Add/Edit Quicksearch Button.
  6. Select the button type you want.
  7. Select the source of the image or icon you want. The subsequent options depend on the type you select.
  8. When you have finished, choose OK.
