Fields: Select Profiles
Select Profiles lets a system administrator set the availability of a room in several profiles at once. When you add or remove the availability of a room to a profile, that availability is also assigned to all the rooms that branch from that room. The availability of the rooms is indicated in the Manage Room list by the check boxes in the Available column.

It is possible to have available rooms branching from an unavailable room. When this happens, administrators assigned to profile will not have access to the room to edit content or settings. However, patrons will be able to access the rooms through Search but not by navigating the room tree. Only an administrator with system rights can manage that room or correct its availability. |
Rooms > Choose a profile > Navigate to a room > Select Profiles
In addition to making a room quickly available to many profiles, Select Profiles also lets you quickly remove the availability of the room from all profiles in preparation for deleting the room.
Available
Displays a list of all the profiles in the system.
You can select or multiselect one or more profiles and then choose the Select button, or you can double-click individual profiles to move them to the Selected list.
Selected
Displays a list of profiles in which the room is available. When you make a room available in a profile, administrators who have access to the profile can edit the content and settings for the room and a patron can navigate to the room in the room tree and find content from the room in a search.
You can select or multiselect one or more profiles and then choose the Remove button, or you can double-click individual profiles to move them to the Available list.
To add or remove profiles in the list, choose the profile and then use these buttons:

Select

Moves the selected profile from the Available list to the Selected list. Selecting a profile for a specific room makes that room available in that profile. |

Removes the selected profile from the Selected list and returns it to the Available list. |
Note: These buttons are context-sensitive based on which profile(s) you choose. When you select a profile in the Available list, the Select option becomes enabled so you can move a profile from the Available list to the Selected list. When you select a profile in the Selected list, the Remove option becomes enabled so you can remove the selected profile.
