Deleting a display code
If you need to, you can delete a display code. Deleting a display code removes the value of that code in Searching and displays the database code in its place.

If you delete a display code, you must refresh the Discovery search cache. Your changes are not reflected in Searching or the Admin console until you refresh the search cache. For more information about refreshing the Discovery search cache, see Refreshing the search cache. |
To delete a display code
- Log in to the Admin console.
- Choose Search Configuration from the navigation pane.
- Choose Display Codes.
- Choose the global or site-specific display code that you want to delete. For information, see Viewing global display codes or Viewing site-specific display codes .
- Choose the Delete option next to the display code that you want to delete.
- When prompted, choose OK to delete the display code. If you do not want to delete the display code, choose Cancel.
