Fields: Authentication Servers

Authentication Servers lets you connect to an ILS or LDAP server. This includes connections to Symphony through the Symphony Web Services server to handle patron logins for profiles in Portfolio. Secured profiles require that the patron submit credentials in order to use the services provided by the profile. All of the patron accounts are managed in either the ILS or the LDAP server. They are not managed in Portfolio.
